The Monastrell is a variety of red grape autochthonous to the Jumilla area where it encounters optimum conditions for its development as it is perfectly adapted to our land and the Mediterranean climate. At BSI we work with other Spanish and foreign grape varieties in order to prepare an excellent selection of wines like Tempranillo, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, or the white wines Airén, Macabeo and Pedro Ximénez. But it is la Monastrell which provides the difference and gives our wines personality and gives them the character of a land and converting it into the stamp of our winery.
