Typical natural sweet wine. 100% Monastrell. 15% alcohol by vol. + 4,5º Baume.
For the elaboration of this wine, we select the grapes in order to obtain a high maturity degree. The maceration phase lasts 4 days. The fermentaton period is strongly controled until the wine reaches 15º of alcohol; in that moment, snd using cold temperatures, fermentation stops and, in that way, the sugar content of the wine remains in it in a natural way. We do not have to add sugar; it is naturally in the wine.
Afterwards, wine is deposit in oak barrels, where it remains for 8 to 10 years.
This wine presents a brilliant color, with with dark red and brown tones derived from the large period of the wine inside the barrels. It has an intense and elegant aroma, typical from mature fruits and new oak mixture. It is very soft, sweet and pleasant. Alcohol is very well balanced.
